Laksa shack

I'm a big fan of laksa besides noodles soup. I have tasted different types of laksa such as laksa kedah, laksa perlis, assam laksa, laksa penang, laksa sarawak, laksa johor and laksam (just to name a few). But my favourite is laksa kedah because it is a common laksa that you can find in Parit Buntar, Perak (my mom's hometown). Laksa kedah is a noodle dish in spicy fish broth topped with various shredded vegetables. I have been eating laksa kedah since I was a kid until today so whenever I 'balik kampung', laksa hunting will surely be in my to-do-list. Why? Because the laksa in my kampung tastes better than any part in M'sia for two things: 1. the ingredients are from the finest based on recipe that was inherited long time ago 2. it brings back the nostalgic memories and good feelings.

Nowadays when I'm in KL..besides going to many stalls that served delicious laksa, I also go to Laksa shack.. a restaurant specializing in laksa. For more info on their menu do check http://www.laksashack.com.my/
