Strawberry Park Resort, Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands
Five years ago, we came here for our honeymoon before we went to Auckland, New Zealand. The resort is breathtakingly beautiful as it is surrounded by lush tropical jungle and located on top of a hill. To mark our 5th anniversary, we make a point to come here again with our children and to celebrate our son's birthday. We booked a comfortable and quite spacious Tioga Apartment with 2 bedrooms, living and dining halls.

Tarbush Restaurant

chicken briyani
I usually went to Tarbush at Ampang Point for a juicy kebab years ago. After that they’ve spread their wings first with a nice lot on Bukit Bintang and then pride of place at the Starhill Gallery.

shish kebab
This is a beautiful restaurant with contemporary Arabic deco. When you seat yourselves down, perhaps have a sip or two of their mint tea.Being a Lebanese restaurant, most people come here for the meat.A good way to sample food here is by trying their mixed grill that comes with different combinations of shish tawook and kebabs, with some sides of rice and Lebanese bread. Portions here are big so I usually share a meal with my youngest sister.

De Chiang Mai, Sg Buloh
The main entrance of the De Chiang Mai restaurant
This famous restaurant nestled in a village located somewhere in Sg Buloh. I came here so many times mostly with my husband and my in-laws. I still remember the first time trying to go there, we missed the small 'kampung' road and nearly lost our way.
We usually pay a visit in the afternoon for lunch. If you sit next to the window, you can see a small farm planted with lemongrass and vegetables.
The dessert counter with wood carvings
Famous mixed thai tom yum..so yummy
Fried siakap thai-style
Fried thai meehoon, lots of lemongrass..smells good and tasty too
Mixed stir-fry vegetables

Budget for 2 was around RM 90. The ambiance is really nice and cosy. Meals are authentic and delicious.
