Ikan Bakar "Grilled Fish", Jln Bellamy

Ikan bakar has always been my family favourite dish, especially my dad. My sister loves ikan terubok bakar while my dad prefer ikan pari bakar. We have been to a lot of places that served famous ikan bakar. But these places are far away from the city, mostly in Klang and Malacca. Therefore, for you guys who have been looking for delicious ikan bakar in the city, I will certainly suggest Jalan Bellamy nearby Istana Negara.
Many have asked me, what makes the ikan bakar tastes different and delicious? Well, some people like it plain but one thing for sure the gravy that was made of herbs and spices plays a major role that gives the ikan bakar its special taste and aroma.

Just for your info; here is a short history of Ikan Bakar Ramli in Jalan Bellamy (macam pantun 2 kerat pulak)...

Ikan Bakar Ramli
Jalan Bellamy, Kuala Lumpur

IN THE early 1980s, Ramli Yusof and his wife Kak Jat came from Pahang and started their stall on the roadside of Jalan Bellamy, behind Istana Negara. In 1984, when the Johore Sultan became king, he decided to build a proper place for the stall.

After construction was completed, two other stalls were set up. Ramli and Kak Jat serve grilled fish Pahang style. Their customers come from all over the Kelang Valley as well as from outstation.

Speciallty
Ikan bakar Ramli with more than eight types of fish (siakap, tilapia, terubok, pari sting ray), kembong, tenggiri, gerapu (garoupa), etc) and other seafood (squids, prawns and crabs)
